2019年，《Firmament》 这款游戏在Kickstarter上发起了一个众筹活动，筹集了将近150万美元的资金。这是开发商Cyan Worlds在《Myst（神秘岛）》和后续的《Obduction》及2020年的《Myst》重制版后推出的新冒险游戏。此前有消息称该游戏已被推迟到2022年。

Distrito XR近日发现，Cyan确认游戏《Firmament》将登陆PS5，并将支持PSVR 2。PS5版本将在今年发布，但对PSVR 2的支持可能会在晚些时候到来，这取决于索尼的头显实际推出的时间。这使得《Firmament》成为仅有的几款正式确认的PSVR 2游戏之一，包括最近的《Horizon Call of the Mountain》。
《Firmament》在最初的众筹活动中达到支持PSVR的扩展目标，但是，虽然游戏仍计划在PS4上运行，但Cyan也确认该游戏不再可能在PSVR 1进行整合。取而代之的是，任何支持PlayStation级别的众筹参与者都将获得PS4和PS5版本的游戏，这意味着他们最终会得到PSVR 2的支持。《Firmament》还将登陆PC，它将支持更多类型的头显。
