该数据中心或将成为Meta全球第20个数据中心项目。
据媒体透露，Meta计划在美国堪萨斯城北部的Golden Plains园区内建立数据中心，占地约1.52平方公里。
据了解，该数据中心或将成为Meta全球第20个数据中心项目。据官网显示，到目前为止，Meta已经在美国建立/共享了15个数据中心。而对上一次是爱达荷州库纳宣布的——以及丹麦、爱尔兰、新加坡和瑞典。
媒体透露，在2月的一次委员会会议上，代表 Velvet Tech Services（可能为Meta空壳公司）的律师表示，最初的水管扩建将允许开发 Velvet 项目的前两座建筑，在批准的计划中显示为55923平方米的数据中心和4645平方米的辅助大楼。然后，第二阶段的扩建可以为东部另外两个55923平方英尺的数据中心提供服务。
