上海警方破获一起虚拟货币网络传销犯罪案，涉案金额1亿余元
据澎湃新闻 3月15日报道，上海市公安局经侦总队会同杨浦公安分局近期侦破上海首例利用虚拟货币实施网络传销犯罪的案件，抓获犯罪嫌疑人10余名，涉案金额1亿余元。 侦查发现，该网络平台系2020年6月开设成立，服务器架设于境外，通过设立某区块链技术公司，内部组建技术、讲师、推广、客服、提现审核等5个团队，通过该平台以推广区块链技术和提供虚拟货币增值服务为名，以承诺高额静态收益和发展下线复式计酬为诱饵，吸引用户加入。该平台存续期间累计发展会员账户6万余个，层级关系达72层，涉案金额1亿余元。
