AT＆T将投资约480亿美元用于扩大光纤网路和5G无线服务
美国电话电报公司（AT＆T）表示，预计到2023年底将投资约480亿美元，以扩大其光纤网路和5G无线服务。
据路透社报导，面临股东对AT＆T转型为媒体和娱乐公司的质疑后，AT＆T正努力将旗下华纳媒体（WarnerMedia）部门与Discovery合并，交易预计在Q2完成。AT＆T打算重新专注于提供网路和电话服务的核心业务。
AT＆T首席执行官史丹奇（John Stankey）表示：“现在华纳媒体交易接近尾声，我们正接近AT＆T新时代的起跑线。”
报导指出，AT＆T正努力将其光纤网路铺设范围扩大一倍，覆盖美国3000万户家庭，并将5G扩展到覆盖2亿多人。
