3月9日，外交部发言人赵立坚主持例行记者会。有记者提问：我们注意到，乌克兰局势发生变化以来，乌国内物资短缺，请问中方是否已向乌克兰提供人道主义援助？
外交部：中方将向乌克兰提供500万元人道主义援助物资。
赵立坚介绍，中国红十字会已经发布消息，应乌克兰方面的请求，中国红十字会将向乌克兰方面提供一批人道主义援助物资包括食品、生活必需品等，价值500万元人民币。3月9日，首批物资已经从北京启运，后续将通过适当方式尽快交付乌克兰。
