I have a little Rust project going to create some web apps for my own use. I'm the only user, so the scalability doesn't matter to me, but the performance does. I want responses to be reasonably fast—no, unreasonably fast.

- found the incantation for curl timing, huh, very fast
- so wait where is curl spending its time
