据Aptos官方博客称，在Meta公司确认关闭其加密货币相关资产之后，Aptos正在将Diem区块链再次带入生活。据两位不愿透露姓名的消息人士称，该团队正以20亿美元的估值筹集2亿美元来实现这一目标。知情人士称，Andreessen Horowitz（a16z）和其他几家加密货币风险投资公司都参与了这项交易。 一位了解该项目的消息人士表示，Aptos团队正在基于最初的Libra白皮书构建其新的第一层区块链。对潜在投资者的宣传是 “没有Facebook的Libra"。与Libra不同的是，该项目的重点将不是跨境支付，而是不可伪造的代币。 据悉，Aptos由Avery Ching和Mo Shaikh创建，Ching之前在Meta的Novi加密货币子公司工作，被认为是Diem区块链的DiemBFT共识协议的共同创造者。（Coindesk）
