据 Macrumors 消息，2019 年 5 月，苹果发布了第七代 iPod touch。自第七代 iPod touch 推出以来，已经过去了 32 个月，整整 1000 天。
据报道，iPod touch 是 Apple 最便宜的 iOS 设备，起价 199 美元。它配备 4 英寸 Retina 显示屏，也是最小的 iOS 设备，同样也是仅存的唯一一款配备 3.5mm 耳机孔的 iOS 设备。
IT之家了解到，第七代 iPod touch 采用了 iPhone 7 的 A10 Fusion 芯片，可选 256GB 存储，其他方面都与之前的第六代 iPod touch 相同。目前，在苹果中国官网第七代 iPod touch 32GB 版售价 1599 元。
外媒表示，iPod touch 是继 2017 年 7 月 iPod nano 和 iPod shuffle 停产后，苹果仍在销售的唯一 iPod 产品。目前没有关于第八代 iPod touch 或新 iPod 型号的传言，这意味着整个 iPod 品牌和产品线都可能被砍。
