Hello Product Hunters!

Since I want to achieve financial freedom, I've been tracking my net worth for a few years now. I Used to track my net worth with a spreadsheet for a few years. It did the work. But after some time, this spreadsheet became big and complex to handle.

I looked for good alternatives, I found that some apps are good but not available in my country, and also require permission to my bank and investment accounts. I didn't like to give this permission. Also, I have assets like real estate that are not represented as an account so I needed to enter them manually.

When I realized that there is nothing that fits my needs, I decided to take advantage of my skill as a mobile app developer and make one.

I created WorthTracker that basically solved all of my requirements first, when I saw there are more people with the same problem I have I decided to publish it to the app store.

Since then, I'm using my own app to track my net worth, If there is something new I need, I just build it.

WorthTracker main features: • See your net worth trend graph. • See your Assets and Liabilities segmentation graph. • Get smart insights on your net worth. • Convert currencies to your preferred default currency. • Historical data tracking. • Your data is backed up on the cloud. • Passcode & Biometric lock • Export your data

I would love to have your feedback, request for features, and any question you might have.

Thanks! :-) Tom.

I like the idea behind this app! Do I need to enter the current values of my assets manually and update it regularly?

@kristof_klein Thank you for the feedback! Correct, currently you need to update your net worth manually and regularly so you don't require to give any permission to your bank or broker account. The first idea is to replace your spreadsheet. In the future, I plan to have more automation, such as adding stocks and crypto that can be updated automatically, and also an option to connect to financial institutions, but it won't be mandatory in order to use the app I would like to keep the option to use WorthTracker without any request for your private account permission :-)
