澳大利亚新南威尔士州为亚马逊送货合同工设定了最低薪水，此举被工会誉为世界首例。这项措施将从 3 月 1 日起逐步实施，要求企业在雇佣自带小型车辆的司机时支付的时薪至少要 37.80 澳元。一位亚马逊发言人表示该公司很高兴继续为 Amazon Flex 送货合作伙伴提供有竞争力的薪酬和灵活的工作。发言人表示，自带汽车的 Amazon Flex 合同工的薪酬已经超过了州设定的最低薪水。最低薪水针对的是雇佣临时送货司机的公司，汽车的重量低于两吨。亚马逊是此类小型汽车司机的主要雇主。
