Cloudentity Adds GraphQL Support to Its Authorization Platform
Cloudentity, an identity and authorization infrastructure company, has announced that its Platform now supports the capability to secure GraphQL APIs. The company believes that pairing GraphQL with its automated authorization infrastructure allows developers to accelerate development while also ensuring uniform security protocols.
Cloudentity believes that support for GraphQL is especially important considering the technologies rapid proliferation across the development community. The company’s announcement of support for GraphQL APIs outlined this reality:
“GraphQL adoption continues to double year-over-year within the developer community, and it's estimated that millions of developers will use GraphQL for projects over the next few years. This widespread adoption is spurred by the user-friendly description of data in APIs that GraphQL provides. While GraphQL APIs accelerate application development, save time and resources, and improve the developer experience, they also create new security risks and challenges for API data leakage.”
This functionality is available immediately to customers who utilize the Cloudentity SaaS authorization platform.
