早在苹果第一代AirPods Max发布后，其设计团队在采访中便透露出曾在一代AirPods Max上试用过触摸控制。希望为AirPods Max增加扭转耳机方向、耳罩触摸控制等功能，但最终在产品发售时，还是选择了DigitalCrown。
AirPods Max就在最近，有外媒曝光了苹果公司一项有关AirPods Max无线耳机的专利。
信息显示：该专利将新款AirPods Max上使用触摸控制设计，而非目前的数字表冠（DigitalCrown）设计，将允许控制Siri、调整音量、调整歌曲等功能。
需要注意的是，这并不是苹果公司获得的第一份有关AirPods Max无线耳机触摸控制设计的专利，苹果公司至少还拥有三份相关内容的专利。
