Winter is already here and with it some really hot features: a new social login option, custom messages for forms, multi-language forms… and so on! Keep reading!

Social login with Microsoft

Sign up or authenticate users with just one click using their existing Microsoft account. Easily implement this fast and secure solution, and reduce signup friction to the fullest.

In addition, the look and feel of Google and Facebook social login options have also been updated following their new guidelines.

Custom form messages

You can now customize error messages and define custom messages on your forms. You will find these options in the new 'Messages' section of the form editor.

To get started, simply select the language you're writing messages in. In the ‘Errors’ tab, you can customize the error messages to display on the form, in that language.

Then, go to the ‘Custom’ tab to define custom messages to use in the ending screen and the flows connected to the form.

To create a new message, simply set a key in the left column and the corresponding text to display in the form, in the right one. You can add as many as you need, simply remember that each key must be unique.

Finally, use the {{ t('custom_key') }} function to reference these messages in the ‘Thank you’ block of the ending screen, or the flow action in which you want to use it. Just copy it by clicking the button on the right side of the key.

Multi-language forms

In addition to defining fully personalized messages, you can now easily translate forms without needing to duplicate them. Just go to the new 'Translations' section of the form editor and click on the ‘Enable additional languages’ checkbox.

Once you activate this option, two new fields will appear. To start creating translations, select the new languages in the 'Additional languages' field.

Once the form is published, it will automatically check the languages configured in the user's browserand display the form in the first one that matches.

If none of these languages match, the form will be displayed in the one selected as 'Default language'. You will also see that the language in which the form was written will be automatically set, although you can change it by selecting one of the additional ones.

To translate the texts in each language, select it in the 'Language editor' section and write the corresponding translation in each field.

You will see that they are divided into three tabs: the texts of all the components of the form, the errors of the forms and the custom messages that you have defined.

Once the translations are ready, save the changes. The form will dynamically display the corresponding language, or the default one, based on each user's browser settings.

Variable autocomplete

We have enabled the variable autocomplete menu on JSON and HTTP Request actions to improve the user experience when writing code in the editor.
