Create public checklists with a click. Anyone with the link can add and check off items. Lists are automatically deleted after 7 days of inactivity. Great for shopping lists, chores, feedback, etc...

Ah that's a great idea for quick disposable lists! I'd like to ask what the main difference is between this and another list app, like Google Keep?
I love to build things.

@maxine_buchert Thanks!

When compared to Google Keep, Listo is the spiritual opposite. For starters you need a google account to use Google Keep. Then the people you potentially share the note, like your family group, would also need an account. Then we can talk about privacy. Listo, I don't track aaaanything. No sign ups, no accounts, no personal data, no personal ids, nothing.

This is likley true if you compare Listo to any other list app. Thanks for your question.

Hey Pedro. Nice tool, congrats!

I just created a list to try it out. One thing would be great: My instinct tells me to hit "ENTER" after adding a task and then write the next right away. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. I think that's a small change, with a huge impact ;-)

I love to build things.

@danischenker Thanks for the comment Dani!

I was able to do this behavior on desktop. Enter and refocuses the input ready to drop the next item. Unfortunately I haven't managed to get it to work on mobile. I've tried a few javascript functions but just can't keep the mobile keyboard up.

I got some leads, however, and will continue testing.

Thanks for this!

@pddro ok, maybe it's me then... because I am on a desktop right now. I didn't try it on mobile...
I love to build things.
@danischenker Oh, that's odd. Double checking here. Is this what you mean?
Online Strategist
@pddro Exactly. That's not working for me. Using Chrome on a MacBook. But there is always a chance that something is wrong on my side.
I love to build things.
@danischenker Thanks Dani, I'll check it out. Appreciate the feedback!

reminds me on one of my most favourite tool workFlowy. But i like LISTOs simplicity and no sign up policiy! one thing i miss is sub items would love to see that! :)
I love to build things.
@phoheisel Workflowy is so amazing. Subitems you say? Oh, I can squeeze that in!
I love to build things.

I built this to use with my wife. We needed lists that feel like a torn page out of a notepad: disposable, single use, and easy to share.

We've used it for a variety of situations from shopping lists, to packing lists, to chores that need be done around the house. Once the tasks are completed, we just forget about it and the lists are deleted automatically.

Just name your list and get your link. Anyone with the link can add, delete and check off items. Inactive lists are deleted after 7 days.

We've found this very useful and wanted to share with everyone, see if this is useful for you, too!
