SE宣布，为纪念《尼尔 机械纪元》发售5周年，将于2月23日18时（东京时间，北京时间为17点）在Niconico上播出官方直播节目。
在官方节目中，齐藤阳介、横尾太郎、田浦贵久、冈部启一都会出场，除会庆祝游戏发售5周年，开发阵容还会有谈话环节。该环节将回顾5周年历程，根据官方推文还应有《机械纪元》相关的新情报。节目后半部分的回答玩家提问环节为NIconico付费会员限定内容，目前官方正在征集问题。
《尼尔 机械纪元》日版发售于2017年2月23日，登陆PS4平台，后登陆PC/Xbox One平台。
