2月3日消息，Google One 是 Google 将云存储和其他付费服务整合到一起的订阅产品，2TB 或更多存储空间的订阅用户还能获得专属的 VPN 功能，不过这项功能在最初并没有为 iOS 用户提供，不过现在 iOS 用户也能开启这项功能了。
作为一项保护措施，Google One 的 VPN 服务只会提供同一个地区的其他 IP 地址，用户无法利用它伪装成身在其他地区。
在 Android 设备上，这项功能还提供一些新特性。当某些应用在通过 VPN 连接时遇到问题，用户可以选择不让这些应用程序通过 VPN 连接，新的 Safe Disconnect 功能可以确保设备只在 VPN 开启的状态下连接到互联网。
对于产品的用户来说，在这之前，苹果已经在新推出的 iCloud+ 服务中加入 Private Relay 私密转送功能，用于保护用户数据。不过并非所有苹果用户都愿意将 iCloud 作为主要云服务，如今更完整的 Google One 来到 iOS 平台，也为 iPhone、iPad 用户带来新的选择。
Google One是一项服务的名称，该服务可以在以前称为Google云存储的功能上添加功能，或者为Google Drive扩展存储付费。现在，有了品牌，Google One再次推动人们从Google购买云存储，因为他们将获得某些好处。
