金融时报援引知情人士的消息报道，英伟达收购 ARM 的交易周一宣告失败，此前美国、英国和欧盟(EU)监管机构就交易对全球半导体行业竞争的影响提出严重关切。这笔交易是芯片行业有史以来规模最大的一笔交易，它将使英伟达获得 ARM 的控制权，而 ARM 的技术是全球大多数移动设备的核心。高通和微软等几家依赖 ARM 芯片设计的大型科技公司曾反对此次收购。软银将获得最高 12.5 亿美元的交易终止费，它将寻求在年底前对 ARM 进行 IPO。这笔现金加股票的交易在 2020 年 9 月宣布时价值 385 亿美元，但英伟达股价的飙升使得交易价值一度达到 870 亿，目前价值约 660 亿美元。
