Ragen VR即将发布VR MMO游戏《Zenith: the Last City》
据外媒消息报道，VR 游戏工作室 Ramen VR 即将发布 MMO 游戏《Zenith： the Last City》，该工作室日前宣布获得1000万美元风险投资。 将于年底的时候登录主流 VR 头显。
《Zenith： The Last City》早在2019年的时候就已经在 Kickstarter 上展开众筹活动。 Ragen VR 原本的目标是2.5万美元，最终总共众筹了 28 万美元，也算是一种大成功。这将极大的推动游戏的发展进度，确保了游戏的推出和稳定近期的发展。
《Zenith： The Last City》在今年早些时候就已经进行了几次封闭的 alpha 测试，该项目背后的工作室 Ramen VR 今天宣布获得了1000万美元的 a 轮投资，参与投资的风投公司包括Makers Fund、Anthos Capital和Dune Ventures。
就单个 VR 游戏而言，1000万美元算是一笔比较大的预算了。 虽然大部分资金将用于扩大公司规模，而不是直接投入到游戏中，但对于 Ramen VR 这样的独立工作室来说，在发行第一款游戏之前获得如此大的资金支持，也是一个难得的机会。
风投公司肯定对游戏的 alpha 测试指标印象深刻，Ramen VR 声称“《Zenith： The Last City》的玩家留存数目与最受欢迎的 F2P 游戏差不多”，有些玩家每周在游戏中花费40个小时。
Ramen VR 还表示，他们将利用这笔资金扩大开发团队规模，并在年底启动 《Zenith： The Last City》。 但具体的发布日期尚未公布，计划在 PC VR、Quest 和 PSVR 上发布，覆盖所有主流 VR平台。 目前，Ramen VR 就开发岗位已经开始进行招聘。
