《英雄联盟》动画导演加盟Bungie 将负责《命运》影视系列开发
曾在Riot Games制作动画短片《英雄联盟》(League Of Legends)的导演Derick Tsai近日在社交媒体上宣布现已加盟Bungie。据《Destiny Bulletin》报道，Tsai将担任《Destiny Universe》跨媒体开发主管，负责《命运》IP影视开发。Derick Tsai的职责包括:主导项目和讲述故事，将命运IP扩展到新媒体，包括电影、电视、动画、书籍、漫画和音频形式等。
据推测，Derick Tsai的新职位是Bungie进军非游戏媒体的一部分。在谈到最近以36亿美元收购Bungie时，该公司首席财务官Hiroki Totoki也表示，《命运》的开发商正在开发一个“重要的新IP”，公司计划利用Bungie之前的经验。
Derick Tsai此前曾参与多个《英雄联盟》短篇动画的制作，包括《班德尔城之外》《符文大陆传说深域崛起》和不久前的青花瓷系列CG等。
