据其活动记录显示，截至目前，完美世界研发团队有四千人左右，后续的一轮优化，预计将减少大几百到一千人。精简之后，公司研发团队主力集中于两个方向：一是相对传统的MMO和“MMO+”方向，二是偏向年轻用户的多人开放世界和卡牌类型。
