由于数码相机行业不景气，日本佳能也开拓新的业务，宣布将运用光学镜头技术制造车用摄像头，用于汽车自动驾驶系统。据悉，目前佳能已与开源自动驾驶公司Tier IV签署合作备忘录，二者成为战略合作伙伴，佳能将为该公司生产专用车载摄像头。
