Meta：Cambria将于2022年发布 不会取代Quest 2

Meta Reality Labs负责人Andrew Bosworth表示Meta Quest 2产品生命周期将会很长，Project Cambria产品将不会取代Quest 2，它们会共同存在。
这引起了Quest用户的担忧，全新高端VR一体机Cambria正在慢慢成为Meta的前沿和中心，这与Quest 2在过去14个月中慢慢取代Quest 1的方式非常相似。事实上，生化危机4和荣誉勋章等一些在Quest 2发布的应用程序已经无法在Quest 1上运行。
此前在Connect大会上Meta宣布Cambria不会成为Quest系列产品的一部分，而且Cambria这款设备专注于混合现实应用，将会搭载额外的传感器，实现眼球追踪和面部跟踪，它将使用光学技术，使其比现有的头显更薄的同时还能够提供高质量的视觉效果，帮助它重建和增强你周围的真实世界。这些新功能也意味着Cambria将比Quest 2贵得多，据说Meta开发Project Cambria的目的不是为了市场广泛推广，而是为了帮助Meta实现元宇宙的愿景。
与此同时，Andrew Bosworth还透露Cambria计划在2022年发布，目前还没有具体的发布时间。
