[MODEM][VoLTE] Lollipop Firmware

Hi guys!

After numerous requests, i have made a flashable zip package to install Lollipop modem and firmware on your Xiaomi Redmi 2.

IMPORTANT!

Make sure you make backups of Firmware, EFS and Persist before flashing! I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA LOSS IF YOU GO FORWARD WITHOUT TAKING PROPER BACKUPS WITH SHA1 VERIFICATION

Not Recommended for Lollipop Custom ROMs /MiUi KK

For Chinese Variants, flash the zip marked China
For Global Variants, flash the zip marked Global

DOWNLOAD! INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Download the zip package from the link below.
2. Boot to TWRP/MiRecovery and Flash the suitable zip package.
3. Reboot! Initial boot may take longer time

• What does this package do?
  This package updates your modem and firmware to the latest version without going thru a full MiUi LP flash.
• Why should I flash this package?
  Lollipop Modem is REQUIRED for VoLTE services. It may / may not help fix Battery drain or Random reboots.
• I'm having issues! Help!
  Restore your backup and ask help on this thread while mentioning your Baseband version and Phone variant.
• Will it brick my device?
  No. Slight chance if you're not careful. Make sure you have enough charge.
• Is this modem compatible with *** phone?
  It is ONLY compatible with Xiaomi Redmi 2 / 2 Prime
• How's the cannoli at Marco's Bistro?
  Stale as hell!

Oh man....so many questions.
I flashed thunder miui 6.10.20 and after that flashed xtrvbeta 6.12.8.
Look....just flash the latest version(xtvrBETA) and u will get volte supported firmware.
I told u I was on miui global when I bought the phone and it was KitKat,can't remember the version.
Never gone to global or developers version except miui by gkalen.
The required recovery can be found on thunder miui thread.
Just be sure that ur recovery and ROM is according to phones model.See the first post.U will get everything. Link
Mine is 2014818.
