1月5日，美国导演昆汀·塔伦蒂诺（Quentin Tarantino）周三宣布，他将推进《低俗小说》剧本NFT的公开拍卖。此前该电影制作方美国娱乐巨头Miramax已对塔伦蒂诺提起诉讼，该公司声称拥有《低俗小说》的版权，而塔伦蒂诺对Miramax隐瞒了他的《低俗小说》NFT计划。Miramax 在诉状中指控昆汀违反合同、不正当竞争和商标侵权。塔伦蒂诺和他的合作伙伴SCRT Labs计划在1月17日至1月31日期间拍卖《低俗小说》的六章剧本。个人必须预先注册才能购买该NFT，拍卖将于1月10日开启注册。该系列中的NFT基于以太坊区块链，用户必须拥有ETH或兼容ETC-20的稳定币才能购买。（The Block）
