在今日CES 2022大会上，索尼不仅公开了PSVR 2的名称及规格信息，还确认《Horizon Call of the Moutain》将是PSVR 2第一款官方游戏。
《Horizon Call of the Moutain》是Guerrilla Games 广受欢迎的开放世界系列的续作。在该系列中，人类在机械恐龙统治的末日世界生存。该系列的第一款游戏是 PS4 独占的《Horizon Zero Dawn》，第一部官方续集《Horizon Forbidden West》将于下个月登陆 PS5 和 PS4。
新的VR续作由 Guerrilla 和 Firesprite 开发，后者是索尼去年年底收购的PS VR科幻恐怖游戏《The Persistence》背后的英国开发商（此前已有消息称该团队会参与开发《Horizon》系列 VR 游戏）。
下面的视频为《Horizon Call of the Moutain》预告片，Guerrilla Studio 总监 Jan-Bart Van Beek 表示该游戏是为 PSVR 2 从头开始构建，展示了“硬件产品与全新控制器一流的视觉、操作等体验”。
从这则简短的预告片中，我们可以看到该游戏采用第一人称，并且有新的角色，目前尚不清楚游戏的主角是否会是此前系列中的Aloy，仅仅依据声音难以下定论。
从预告片来看，PSVR 2所提供的视觉效果与前代相比有了明显的进步。
