以太坊视频直播平台Livepeer完成2000万美元B+轮融资，Alan Howard、Tiger Global等参投
据The Block 1月5日报道，基于以太坊的去中心化视频直播平台Livepeer完成2000万美元B+轮融资，Alan Howard和Tiger Global以及Digital Currency Group、Northzone、Warburg Serres等现有投资者参投。Livepeer的联合创始人兼首席执行官Doug Petkanics表示，新一轮融资也是股权融资，迄今为止Livepeer的总融资额约为5100万美元。Petkanics表示，该项目计划在今年年初发布一个名为Confluence的大规模升级，该升级将把Livepeer的内部协议从以太坊的基础层转移到Layer 2网络Arbitrum。这也将保持Livepeer代币（LPT）和核心安全机制锚定在以太坊。
未来，Livepeer还计划扩展其跨媒体价值链的能力，包括视频NFT支持。据悉，Livepeer是一个去中心化的视频转码平台，可将视频从一种文件格式转换为另一种文件格式。
去年7月，Livepeer宣布完成2000万美元的B轮融资，Digital Currency Group（DCG）领投，Coinbase Ventures、CoinFund、Northzone参投。
