Charging the iPad Pro through a Computer UB Port ? is it Safe ?

Hi Guys,
I have a question about charging the iPad Pro so my question is, is it ok if I charge the iPad Pro via my Monitor ? I have a Dell Monitor which has a Downstream Port so it can be used to get your device charged. It provides around 200 Watts of power when connected to an Upstream Port. My question is will it be safe to charge the iPad Pro this way ? Will it not cause any harm or hamper the life or functioning of the iPad Pro battery ?
