12月21日晚间，业内人士@手机晶片达人爆料，iPhone 14系列只有一款会使用苹果A16芯片，这意味着iPhone 14标准版将无缘A16。
@手机晶片达人解释，敢这么断定的原因是苹果4nm A16芯片2022年的备货量只有今年A15芯片的三分之一。PS：A16内部代号为“Crete”，A15内部代号为“Ellis”。
从爆料来看，明年iPhone 14系列似乎只有iPhone 14 Pro Max会使用A16芯片，iPhone 14 Pro也可能无缘A16。
另外，iPhone 14系列可能会采用挖孔屏方案。消息称苹果把挖孔屏限制在更昂贵的Pro系列上使用，两款非Pro版iPhone 14系列将继续采用刘海屏，尺寸分别为6.1英寸和6.7英寸。
值得注意的是，因iPhone mini系列机型销量不佳，消息称苹果将在2022年取消5.4英寸的mini系列。
