Hey Hackers! I’m Farath, and I’m a Cloud Consultant. 😀

First of all, a huge thank you to the HackerNoon community and staff for nominating me for a 2021 Noonies award! I’ve been nominated in the following categories. Please do check out these award pages and vote:

  1. HackerNoon Contributor of the Year - app-development

  2. HackerNoon Contributor of the Year - database

  3. HackerNoon Contributor of the Year - networking

  4. HackerNoon Contributor of the Year - software-engineering

  5. HackerNoon Contributor of the Year - tech-careers

As someone in the Cloud industry, I believe that the most exciting technology of the present is DevOps on the Cloud because it’s literally everywhere now! Learn more about my thoughts and opinions on Cloud and my journey in the tech industry via the interview below.

1. What do you do and why do you do it? (tell us your story)

Very simple! I love the emerging tech, and I have already started building Cloud in my own backyard with a couple of Raspberry Pis. So now is the time to divulge into Cloud and crack some interesting automation leveraging the Cloud that is.

2. Tell us more about the things you create / write / manage / build!

I used to talk about creating websites and powering businesses with the right tech. Now, I usually help businesses open new ideas with what I can offer - Cloud and tech, you know what I meant.

3. How did you end up on your current career path? Do you like it?

Absolutely, I am now helping customers, typically small business owners, to adopt Cloud to leverage their businesses and get that cutting edge to transform their businesses for the Post-Covid World.

4. What tech are you most excited or passionate about right now and why?

Cloud! You just have to say it. Now, I am helping Customers understand what Cloud is and what it means for their businesses, and how they can leverage Cloud for their businesses.

5. What tech are you most worried about right now and why?

A.I and blockchain, I would say. These technologies are new in the market now, and there are so many things we can do, but that doesn’t grill me. The thing that concerns me, I need to find an entry to see how these could help businesses (my customers).

6. If we gave you 10 million dollars to invest in something today, what would you invest in and why?

I would invest in learning blockchain and creating a whole new library for blockchain.

7. What are you currently learning?

I am currently learning leadership skills to better myself in terms of my social aspects.

8. What’s the best advice you’ve ever given someone?

Learn and keep learning.

9. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Change if you need to. Never be afraid of change.
