Facebook is seeking a Lead/Senior machine learning engineer to join our Papers with Code (paperswithcode.com) engineering team.
Papers with Code is a free resource for researchers and practitioners to find and follow the latest state-of-the-art ML papers and code. It is the biggest repository of papers, code, benchmarks, results, methods and datasets in one place. We aim to improve reproducibility across the ML community, and help organise all knowledge in ML into a single resource.
Software Engineer, Machine Learning - Papers with Code Responsibilities
This is a hybrid role that involves both NLP model development (50%) and web development (50%). You will not only be solving problems for the global ML community using ML, but also putting these models into production and making product decisions.
Leading and independently creating new features and products for Papers with Code.
Have freedom to experiment and come up with new products and features with broad impact.
Minimum Qualifications
Machine Learning or NLP experience, using modern frameworks and tools.
Web development experience, preferably in Python/Django and React.
Proven ability to translate insights into products.
Experience of demonstrating technical leadership working with teams, owning projects, defining and setting technical direction for projects.
Preferred Qualifications
MS degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with experience in machine learning related work or research, or PhD degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
Extensive machine Learning experience, preferably in developing NLP models using modern NLP tools and state-of-the-art models.
