英国报告首例 Omicron 变体死亡病例

英国首相约翰逊周一表示，英国至少有一人在感染 Omicron 冠状病毒变体后死亡。这是全球范围内首例公开确认这种病毒变体的死亡病例。自 11 月 27 日在英国发现第一例 Omicron 病例以来，约翰逊实施了更严格的限制，并在周日警告说，该变种可能会攻克接种了两针疫苗的人的免疫防御。英国卫生大臣贾伟德(Sajid Javid)表示，目前该变体占伦敦感染病例的44%，并可能在48小时内成为伦敦的主要病毒株。贾伟德还称，单日新增Omicron感染病例估计在20万例。
