由反对疫苗的医生和律师组建的组织 Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency（PHMPT）根据信息自由法案 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 向 FDA 递交申请要求公开数十万页的 COVID-19 疫苗数据。由于人手不足，加上需要对披露的文件进行人工编辑移除敏感的个人信息，FDA 表示短时间内无法满足。PHMPT 组织成员很多都公开反对疫苗或疫苗强制接种。他们递交信息披露申请被认为旨在从中寻找不利的疫苗信息。FDA 表示它会公开超过 329,000 页的 COVID-19 疫苗数据，但会以比较缓慢的速度公开，每月处理和发布 500 页，直到 2076 年完成整个过程。FDA 称它请求对方缩小披露范围以更快完成处理工作但对方拒绝。美国法官下个月将对这一长达 55 年的披露安排进行裁决。
