Twitter 逐步停止支持 AMP。以前移动用户在 Twitter 上点击分享的链接它的爬虫会首先寻找是否存在对应的 AMP 页面，如果存在则会将链接重定向到 AMP 版本。Accelerated Mobile Pages 或 AMP 是 Google 主导的一个受争议的项目。在优化移动网页加载的名义下，AMP HTML 文档必须从 Google 控制的域名加载一个脚本。Google 从去年开始逐步减少对 AMP 的支持，其 Top Stories 不再需要 AMP。现在，Twitter 也在开发者页面“Publish faster articles with AMP”通知开发者它将在四季度完全停止支持 AMP。网站已经注意到其 AMP 页面来自 Twitter 的流量已经降为零。
