问个小白问题,为什么没有可变间隔的备份方式

突发奇想,望轻喷.就是现在备份都是定时固定间隔的备份,我自己设想了一种可变间隔的备份,就是时间越远备份间隔越长,比如 10 年前就是一年一个备份,3 年前就是一月一次备份,然后逐渐密集,到今天就是一天存一个备份,这样如果想找一些特别古老的备份也能找到,也能相对节省资源,是不是没有这种需求呢😂

可不就是 Time Machine 么
• Local snapshots as space permits
• Hourly backups for the past 24 hours
• Daily backups for the past month
• Weekly backups for all previous months
The oldest backups are deleted when your disk becomes full.
