Question How can I get Google dialer's call screening?
Clear data in play store and dialer and reboot. You should boot back up with call screen.Does this method still work? I just tried it following all the steps but I don't have Call Screening as an option in the Dialer settings.

Thanks, I got Google dialer working on Oneplus 8 by changing device fingerprint to Pixel 5 but the screen brightness on my device is broken. While locked, the brightness is fine, but as soon as I unlock the phone, it goes to the minimum & slider does not change it.Actually, you can get Google call screening to work on non pixel phones, I already got it to work on my OnePlus 9 Pro, but you need to have root. It's actually pretty easy on the OnePlus 9 series as the default dialer is Google. All you have to do after is:
Root phone, install BusyBox Magisk module and Magisk props module, change device fingerprint to Google pixel 5, restart then enable device emulation (do this using the props module just like changing device fingerprint), enable all settings except display.id and reboot. You'll have the call screening option now because it thinks it's a pixel 5. Problem with this method is you won't get system updates. But, once you know there is an update you can go into props module, revert all changes, revert Magisk, install update, re root and reapply the changes to get call screening working again.
If I disable the magisk modules, it comes back to normal.
Any ideas?

Well, it's not ideal because it's either too dim like you said and can't be changed or Max brightness. Fyi I'm on an 8t. I have ek kernel manager downloaded, under display options you can select high brightness mode. It'll make your screen Max brightness until you turn it off. Temp solution until I poke around in system config settings. Maybe another kernel will fix it.Thanks, I got Google dialer working on Oneplus 8 by changing device fingerprint to Pixel 5 but the screen brightness on my device is broken. I've got it going nearly perfect on my op7 pro running oos 11.0.1.1. No assistant or brightness issues as mentioned above. I have however noticed that the "automatically screen" option may not be be working as expected. The phone still rings and shows the three buttons, one of which is the screen call button, but that button has to be pressed to begin the screening, regardless of that automatic setting being turned on. I followed the tutorial on droidwin but there was a missing command (how to launch the props script in termux - just type "props") but overall between that page and this thread I was able to get it working. Make sure to get the correct systemizer app if you have android 11. Credit to @zacho56 for sharing the systemizer that worked on A11.

Any tips for getting this working on OP8 Pro running Lineage? I've tried just about anything and everything, systemizing Google app, enrolling in beta and out of beta, getting all the modules, changing fingerprint to Pixel 5 but still no luck. Maybe this was fixed on Google's end?

It may have been... I'm back today to undo what has been working well up until about two days ago. First I started noticing huge battery drain, like from 100% to 30% in 5 hours... Starting this morning any time I receive an incoming call my phone immediately crashes.Any tips for getting this working on OP8 Pro running Lineage? Has anyone been able to get Google's call screening to work? I've seen some guides for older OnePlus devices, I was wondering how it would work for the 9.

You download this app, you don't need to systemize, change props, or install modules. It just changes data settings. Everything works for me.

Call screen. Where you can choose for Google to answer your calls or decline call automatically. I love it. And g-dialer is default dialer . Just not the pixel dialer.Wait is this mod for call recording or Google's call screening? I think I found this mod but it's not for call screening

Has anyone seen the issue where after you accept a call by hitting call screen and it brings up the window where the call would be transcribed but instead there is no transcription/reply buttons and you can hear two way audio from both devices? The hangup and answer buttons are also greyed out.
I have followed all the instructions on the first page by jeffsga88 and got call screen option working to this point. I then used the GoogleDialerMod and copied some missing parameters Zeus0fyork shared. However behavior was exactly the same.
I am in Australia and call screen was recently enabled here. I have noticed that the call screening options are different to that off the USA. They appear more limited. Which makes me think maybe a slightly different setup could be required.
