How to (properly) break your design system
Recently I had the honor to be invited by Adobe as one of the Luminaries of the biggest design and creativity event in the world: Adobe Max. It’s a massive conference: in 2020 it had more than 631.000 global attendees, with 2.2M views during the event and more than 21M video views across all channels.
I have been wanting to share my ideas around design systems for a while, and that felt like the right opportunity to do so.
But I didn’t want this to be just-another-design-systems-talk. It had to be more personal than that. If we want to invite new folks into our industry, we need to be less technical and cold when talking about design and technology. We need to show our real motivations to do the work we do.
So there you go. I took the risk. My most personal talk yet.
