Monorepos in your browser with StackBlitz and Nx

Nx and StackBlitz logos

StackBlitz now supports Nx through its WebContainers technology, giving you all the power of a monorepo using Nx within the context of a browser.

StackBlitz provides an online IDE that gives you all the power of a full IDE, powered through the browser. This allows anyone to build, prototype, and iterate on many types of projects whether it's with a frontend framework such as React, Next.JS, or Angular, to a backend application using Express and Node.JS.

The goal of Nx is to make getting started and scaling with a monorepo as seamless as possible. Traditionally, you would need a local environment to run the Node APIs used by core APIs with Nx for running applications, generating code, and running different tasks. Now with StackBlitz and Nx you can put together a monorepo instantly, prototype your monorepo structure, develop applications and libraries, use live previews, and import or export your project to GitHub.

We look forward to integrating more with StackBlitz in the future! Check out the StackBlitz homepage for more information and new starters. Follow @NxDevTools and @StackBlitz on Twitter for more updates!
