端对端加密消息应用 Signal 通过其官方博客公布了它收到的一张法庭传票，要求提供它没有收集的用户隐私数据。加州中区的一个联邦大陪审团要求 Signal 提供大量用户数据，包括订户信息、财务信息、交易历史、通信等等，问题是 Signal 根本没有收集此类信息，它无法访问用户的信息、聊天列表、群组、联系人、贴纸，个人资料名称或头像。Signal 能提供给法庭的只有账户创建和最后一次访问服务的 Unix 时间戳。
