10月15日，天然钻石协会（The Natural Diamond Council）与珠宝设计师 Lorraine Schwartz 在奢侈品电商 Moda Operandi 上推出了新兴设计师钻石倡议（Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative，以下简称“EDDI”）项目下的首个设计珠宝系列。
EDDI 项目由天然钻石协会与 Lorraine Schwartz 在今年早些时候发起。在珠宝钻石行业，如果没有和供应商打过交道或者没有相关的推荐人，购买钻石原料对于新兴设计师来说是巨大的挑战，EDDI 项目就是为了消除这样的行业壁垒，通过提供总计100万美元的钻石信贷额度，为黑人、有色人种和土著珠宝设计师提供入行机会，同时向他们提供珠宝钻石行业教育和资源。
