PH，XH，ZH等这些都是JST（Japan Standard Time 日本压着端子制造株式会社）的料号，因为JST用的最多，且很多工厂都在模仿制作，故也大多起这样的代号，以便选型者更为方便的知道与JST的匹配情况。这都是表示端子脚与脚之间的距离（间距、Pitch、PH）。
补充几个常用的间距：
FH 0.5mm
SH 1.0mm
GH 1.25mm
ZH 1.5mm
PH 2.0mm
EH/XH 2.5/2.54mm（这两个其实是一样的）
VH 3.96mm
