Devuan 发行版释出了代号为 Chimaer 的 Devuan 4.0。Devuan 4.0 是基于 Debian Bullseye，使用的内核版本为 Linux kernel 5.10；可选 init 系统包括 sysvinit、runit 和 OpenRC；改进了桌面支持；新的引导、显示管理器和桌面主题；增强了可访问性，等等。Devuan 发行版是因为初始化系统 systemd 争议而由一群不满的 Debian 开发者创建的不使用 systemd 的分支。
