We are pleased to announce that in3D, an app that makes it easy to create 3D scans of humans, now supports direct export to Sketchfab.

In3D uses the selfie camera on Apple devices to create a T-pose mesh with a 2k diffuse texture. The meshes that it generates also include Mixamo-compatible rigs. The app works on iPhone X or later.

How to export to Sketchfab

  1. Once your scan is complete, press the Sketchfab icon in the menu at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Enter your API token, which you can find in your Sketchfab account settings when you’re logged in to the site.
  3. Visit your Sketchfab account to see the final model.
