我国在珠峰6200米地带成功采集到植物种子

新华社拉萨10月2日电（记者孙阳）日前，中国西南野生生物种质资源库采集队顺利完成“珠峰种子采集2021”任务，在珠峰6200米地带成功采集到须弥扇叶芥、鼠麴雪兔子等植物的种子，刷新了我国采集植物种子的最高海拔纪录。
种质库采集队分别于今年8月和9月两次前往珠峰，先后历时20余天，最高抵达海拔6605米开展植物多样性调查采集。
依托中国科学院昆明植物研究所建设的中国西南野生生物种质资源库是我国重大科技基础设施。截至2020年底，种质库已保存野生植物种子10601种、85046份，为保障我国战略生物资源安全奠定了基础。
