At Unity, we offer a wealth of entry points for students who are passionate about advancing their careers in the technology industry. From engineering and human resources to communications, UX, finance, and beyond, we have exciting opportunities for university students.

Our Internship Program provides students the chance to learn through hands-on project experience. Interns at Unity are challenged to solve impactful business problems, engage in social and cultural events, learn from thought leaders, and grow through mentoring and networking.

Student Worker positions are offered to those who want part-time employment in a role that complements their studies. In addition, Recent Graduate programs are available at select Unity locations to support graduates launching their careers in tech.

This year, we hosted engaging activities for our interns and student workers around the world, including the Global Speaker Series, Unity Students Impact Award,and fun social events. Our students also participated in a Student Give-Back Day and made their mark through involvement in Unity’s Employee Resource Groups.

Global Speaker Series

From May to August, we invited a selection of leaders from across Unity to share inspiring experiences, career insights, and the future of the business with our students. Keeping our value of Best Ideas Win in mind, this speaker series highlighted the diversity of talent and potential for growth at Unity.

Unity Students Impact Award

Students are an essential part of what we do. To celebrate the valued contributions that students make at Unity, our University Recruiting team launched the Unity Students Impact Award in 2021, for which managers can nominate students and interns in recognition of their outstanding work.

The award is given to a student in each region based on their impact and embodiment of our values and leadership attributes. Award winners receive a certificate of recognition as well as some great prizes.

Social events

From trivia games to virtual escape rooms and creating student-experience trailers, we offer a wide array of social events that let Unity interns and student workers build relationships with one another both locally and globally.

United States and Canada

We hire students in the U.S. and Canada every year. As part of this placement, students are invited to our annual Unity Global Hackweek. Living our value of In It Together,some students join an existing Hackweek team, some join forces with other students, and others embrace our value of Go Bold and work on individual projects related to their internships.  

Our student interns are with us for three to four months during the summer and contribute to all aspects of Unity’s operations. While working remotely during the pandemic, we hosted virtual happy hours, game nights, escape rooms, and other events so our students could connect with each other.

Europe

We currently hire students in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Lithuania, and the U.K. Depending on the country, we offer several different programs, from internships and placement years to student worker positions.

We host events locally and globally for students in these offices, such as virtual coffee catch-ups, quizzes, and more. Our students use these events to learn and grow professionally in a social setting.

Asia

Our China, South Korea, Singapore, and Japan offices welcome students onto their teams. We also have a China University Recruitment page for Chinese students interested in our Recent Graduate and Internship Programs.

These interns take part in quarterly student engagement activities where they have opportunities to interact with local business leaders and learn from each other about innovation, creativity, and diversity.

Recently, we connected our students in Europe and Asia through a variety of social events, demonstrating our value of being In It Together.
