印度留学贷款平台Leap Finance完成C轮融资，成功筹集5500万美元

据外媒报道，印度留学贷款平台 Leap Finance 宣布已经完成 C 轮融资，成功筹集 5500 万美元。此轮融资由 Owl Ventures 领投，Jungle Ventures 和红杉印度等参投。这也是 Leap Finance 今年的第二次融资，此前，该公司曾在 2020 年融资 550 万美元，随后在 2021 年 3 月完成规模为 1700 万美元的 B 轮融资。
Leap Finance 由 Vaibhav Singh 和 Arnav Kumar 于 2020 年成立，主要为想去海外留学的学生提供相关咨询、签证、贷款等其他服务。其贷款利率在 8%-10% 之间，且无需抵押。该公司宣称已为 6 万名留学生提供贷款服务，其中主要是美国、英国、澳大利亚及加拿大的印度留学生。
Leap Finance 在新闻发布会上表示，此轮融资的目的在于把留学目的地增加至 20 多个国家和地区，让想去留学的东南亚、北非和中东地区的学生有更多选择空间。此外，上个月该公司还曾宣布将在今年年底面向国内国外扩招 500 人，以增强产品和科技性能。
Leap Finance 在印度留学生贷款领域的主要竞争对手是 MPower Financing 和 Credenc ，其中前者在今年 7 月完成了规模为 1.52 亿美元的融资，而后者也在同一时间段获得了 2500 万美元的投资。
