韦伯望远镜推迟到 12 月发射

NASA 和 ESA 宣布韦伯（James Webb）太空望远镜的发射日期从 10 月 31 日推迟到 12 月 18 日。韦伯望远镜已多次推迟发射，开支也不断飙升。望远镜的最早发射日期定在 2007 年，预算 5 亿美元，如今它的花费超过了一百亿美元，是国际空间站之后最昂贵的太空设施项目。韦伯太空望远镜将使用 ESA 的 Ariane 5 火箭发射，地点是在法属圭亚那的太空港。ESA 的 Gunther Hasinger 在声明中表示，无数人都在期盼着发射，火箭和望远镜都已经准备就绪，他们正在完成最后的发射准备。
