有科学海盗湾之称的论文共享网站 Sci-Hub 诞生十周年，网站创始人 Alexandra Elbakyan 表示将上传 2,337,229 篇新论文来庆祝这一纪念日。在这之前，Sci-Hub 今年 7 月为了遵守印度法庭的命令而同意停止接收新的论文。Elbakyan 之所以决定遵守命令是因为她有可能赢得诉讼，遵守命令或许能增加赢得诉讼的几率，她希望印度法庭能支持对科学的自由访问。她现在表示论文上传的限制已经过期了。Sci-Hub 诞生于 2011 年，目前提供的论文超过 8500 万篇。网友四个月前还发起了拯救 Sci-Hub 和开放科学的行动。
