柏林各大学食堂减少肉食应对气候变化

德国柏林各大学食堂将从下学期起改以供应纯素食和素食为主，以推动“气候友好型”的餐单。从 10 月起，学生在食堂点餐的菜单组成将是68%纯素食，28%素食，以及4%的肉类和鱼类。每周一将完全不供应肉类，咖啡香肠将换成沙拉（沙律）。大学食堂目前关闭，但是可以通过自取外卖点餐。新餐单的设计是意在减少德国首都各大学的碳足迹。在传统的德国菜色当中，肉类非常普遍，比如炸肉排、德国油煎香肠以及德国咸猪手等。联合国粮食及农业组织的资料显示，农场动物养殖占全球温室气体排放量的 14%。
