日本可持续时尚联盟成立，亚瑟士、伊藤忠、东丽、良品计划等11家企业参与
8月初，日本的多家时尚和纺织纤维公司宣布，成立日本可持续时尚联盟（Japan Sustainable Fashion Alliance），以求推动日本时尚产业的可持续发展。
截止到8月19日，已有11家公司参与，包括：Asics（亚瑟士）、Adastria、伊藤忠商事、仓敷纺织、Goldwin、Teijin Frontier、东丽、丰岛、日本环境设计、United Arrows、良品计划（MUJI的母公司）。其中伊藤忠商事、Goldwin、日本环境设计担任共同代表。
时尚产业是对环境影响最大的行业之一，除了大量生产、大量消费之外，生产环节的不透明化也经常被诟病。据悉，2020年10月起，响应日本环境省的呼吁，日本知名的纤维生产商、贸易公司、零售商、回收生产商等，就解决方式等内容展开探讨。
