Design and development of a web development platform/marketplace
Xfive designed and implemented an innovative service platform that connects business owners with web developers to build their websites. The platform integrates a number of custom-made features, including a scoring system, invoicing, payments, and a communication module.
Client
Goodiewebsite is a platform/marketplace providing web development services to designers and business owners. The platform delivers custom WordPress website development, custom web design, WooCommerce development, Shopify development, Front-end development, Email development, and website maintenance.
Brief
The main idea behind Goodie is to provide high-quality development services at affordable prices by optimizing the communication process and by automating the tasks usually performed by an account manager. To this end, a number of custom features were developed: communication module, scoring system, invoicing, payments, promo codes, statistics and reporting, and many more.

The current iteration of Goodie is the third one Xfive delivered. The platform itself was built in a typical MVP model. It grew from a straightforward communication tool to a full-featured marketplace within just three years.

- The platform has two main parts: the application itself, where the communication, quitting, bidding, scoring, invoicing, delivery happen, and a brochure website built with WordPress.
- Currently, Goodie hires a team of 20 developers and it processes over a hundred project inquiries monthly.

It was a personal challenge to take the product development under my wings, and to make sure that Goodie is a great product that performs and brings income. MVP development, adding new features to the platform to improve the product, was easier than imagined with the Xfive development team.
